The ICM is organizing a Weekend Family retreat/camp at the WV Historic Jackson’s Mill. This can make a lifelong memory for the kids and adults.
Program (included in the price):
- Arrive at Jackson Mill on Sat. before noon.
- Lunch at noon
- Outdoor activities: biking, sports and a lot more.
- Dinner at 6:00pm
- After dinner activities
- Stay overnight
- Sunday morning breakfast
- Outdoor activities
- Lunch at 12:00pm
- Leave on Sunday after noon

The ICM-Executive Committee would like to kindly remind you that Sept. 1st is the yearly deadline to pay your membership ($100 professional, $25 student).
This is an election year for ICM committees, the ICM-EC encourages every Muslim in Morgantown or nearby to become a member and participate in the election process.

Note: The EC decided to keep it as cover dish dinner because they did not have a sponsor. Please visit the previous article for information on how to sponsor an Iftar during Ramadan.

The dates for Ramadan Iftar sponsoring are now open. There are 2 ways you can sponsor:
- Co-sponsoring food for iftars
- Sponsoring drinks & cups.
Co Sponsoring food for iftars
You can either sponsor the food a day by yourself, or co-sponsor it with someone else to share expenses. Co-sponsoring will mean that you have to coordinate with another person who will signup for the same day and share expenses. The ICM will notify you about your cosponsor’s contact information. If you would like information on where/how to arrange food, please speak to Br Ayman Abaza.
For Friday, please arrange food for 200 people.
For Saturday through Thursday, please arrange food for 85 people. Please split the food to have separate dishes for 15 women.
Sponsoring drinks/cups
The reason we have put up the drinks/cups sheet is so that the ICM can be supported in these expenses and so that more people have an easier way to participate in gaining a reward from feeding fasting Muslims. Drinks/cups require $100 on Fridays and $50 for all other days. Please contact Br Sohail @ 304-906-8183 or Br Zahid @ 510-592-4437 to pay for this.
Reservation
To reserve iftar or drinks:
- Please write down your name, contact info on the iftar or drink signup sheet posted on the ICM entrance OR
- Contact Br Zahid @ 510-592-4437 and leave your name and contact information. Please mention your first and second preference dates (in case the first date is unavailable).
