The ICM has confirmed that Eid Ul-Fiter is going to be on Sunday Sept. 20, 2009.
Eid prayer will start @9:30am and before that Takbirat will start @9:00am
After the prayer there will be community cover dish breakfast at the ICM. Please bring enough food for your self, your family, and little more to share with the rest of the community.
Eid Party and Dinner will @6:00pm at Stansbury Hall.
1- Eid Ul-Fitr Party & Dinner:Where: Stansbury Hall on main campus
When: Sunday Sept. 20, 2009 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm
Fees: ICM members who paid their 2009 ICM membership will have FREE pass.
Non-paid members and guests need to buy tickets ($10 for adults and $5 for children 10yrs and above with a maximum of $25/family).
Note: You can buy tickets or pay your ICM 2009 family membership and get FREE tickets before the party day.
2- Volunteers needed for Eid party:
Please contact br. Hussein Ammar (hussein.ammar@gmail.com) or sister Radwa(radwamohammad@gmail.com) to help in organizing the Eid party. Good number of volunteers needed for Kids’ activities.
The ICM is facing 2 pressing needs:
1- Parking area for the masjid
2- permanent grave yard for the community
The ICM administration estimates their need for $300,000.00 to be able to work on those two projects. Currently there is ONLY $18,000.00 towards these projects.
The ICM is asking the community members to donate to enable them to work on those two projects, and fulfill the need of the community.
Please use the pledge forms to write the ammount you are willing to donate for these projects. The donations could dropped in the proper donation box (should be clearly marked for this purpose) or given to any ICM EC/BOT member(s).
